The collection, processing and using your personal details is part of our service offer, as our aim is to provide user-friendly and customer-oriented services. The operators of this website take the protection of your personal data very seriously. We treat your personal data confidentially and in line with legal data protection regulations and this data protection notice. Our website can normally be used without having to enter personal data. If personal data is collected on our website (for example, name, address or e-mail addresses), this will always take place, as far as possible, on a voluntary basis. This data will not be passed on to third parties without your express consent. We would like to point out that data transmissions over the Internet (e.g. through e-mail communication) may involve security risks. It is not possible to completely protect such data against access by third parties.

Systec is constantly checking and updating the information on its websites. Despite all efforts, some information may have changed in the interim. No liability can therefore be accepted nor guarantee given for the relevance, accuracy and completeness of the information provided. The same applies to all other websites that are referred to via hyperlinks. Systec GmbH is not responsible for the content of websites that can be accessed through such links. Furthermore, Systec GmbH reserves the right to make changes or additions to the information provided. The content and structure of the Systec GmbH website is protected by copyright. Reproduction of information or data, particularly the use of texts, text parts, and images, requires the prior consent of Systec GmbH.

Cookies
Websites partly use so-called cookies. Cookies do not damage your computer in any way and do not contain viruses. The purpose of cookies is to make our website more user-friendly, effective and secure. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your computer and that your browser stores. Most of the cookies we use are so-called “session cookies”. They are automatically deleted after your visit. Other cookies stay on your end device until you delete them. These cookies allow us to recognise your browser when you next visit our website. You can adjust your browser so that you are informed about the setting of cookies and only allow cookies in individual cases, prevent the use of cookies in certain cases or generally, and activate the automatic deletion of cookies when closing the browser. Disabling cookies may restrict the functionality of this website.

Server log files
The website provider automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files which your browser automatically sends to us. This information is:

  • browser type and browser version
  • operating system used
  • referrer URL
  • hostname of accessing computer
  • time of server request

This data is not attributable to specific people. This data will not be merged with other data sources. We reserve the right to retrospectively examine this log data if there is concrete evidence of illegal activity. When using this general data and information, Systec GmbH does not draw any conclusions about the person concerned. Rather, this information is needed to correctly deliver the contents of our website, to optimise the contents of our website and the advertising for it, to ensure the permanent functionality of our information technology systems and the technology of our website, and to provide law enforcement authorities with the information necessary for criminal prosecution in the event of a cyber attack. This anonymously collected data and information is therefore evaluated by Systec GmbH statistically with the aim of increasing data protection and data security in our company in order to ultimately ensure an optimal level of protection for the personal data processed by us. The anonymous data of the server log files is stored separately from all personal data provided by a data subject. The data will be deleted as soon as it is no longer necessary to achieve the purpose for which it was collected. In the case of data collection for provision of the website, this will be undertaken once the respective session has ended.

Newsletter data
We offer you the option of subscribing to our newsletter on our website. So that you can make the most of all product benefits, this newsletter will regularly send you tips and tricks as well as additional product information to your email address. The newsletter is sent out on the basis of your subscription (consent) on the website by means of the double opt-in procedure. We only use this data to send the requested information and do not pass it on to third parties. You can revoke consent to the storage of your data and email address as well as their use for sending the newsletter at any time, for example via the “unsubscribe” link in the newsletter.

Use of the Newsletter mailing service “Campaign Monitor”
This website uses Campaign Monitor for sending newsletters. The provider is Campaign Monitor, address: 631 Howard St., Suite 500, San Francisco, CA 94105. Campaign Monitor is a service that organises and analyses the distribution of newsletters. The data you enter to subscribe to a newsletter (e.g. email address) will be stored on Campaign Monitor’s servers in the US.

Sending our newsletters with Campaign Monitor enables us to analyse the behaviour of newsletter recipients. Among other things, we can analyse how many recipients opened the email containing the newsletter and how often various links inside the newsletter were clicked. With the help of conversion tracking, we can also analyse whether a predefined action (such as clicking a press release on our website) takes place after clicking on the link in the newsletter. Data processing is based on your consent (Art. 6 para (1)(a) GDPR. You may revoke your consent at any time by unsubscribing to the newsletter. The data processed before we receive your request may still be legally processed.

If you do not want your use of the newsletter to be analysed by Campaign Monitor, you must unsubscribe from the newsletter. We provide a link to do this in every newsletter we send. The data provided when registering for the newsletter will be used to distribute the newsletter until such time as you cancel your subscription, when said data will be deleted from our servers and those of Campaign Monitor. Data stored by us for other purposes shall remain unaffected by this. Please refer to Campaign Monitor’s privacy policy: https://www.campaignmonitor.com/policies/#privacy-policy.

Google Analytics
This website uses functions of the web analytics service, Google Analytics. The provider is Google Inc.; 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway Mountain View, CA 94043, USA. Google Analytics uses so-called “cookies” which are text files placed on your computer to help the website analyse how you use the site. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website will normally be transmitted to and stored by Google on a server in the United States

IP anonymization
We have activated the IP anonymisation feature on this website. Your IP address will be truncated by Google within the European Union or other parties to the Agreement on the European Economic Area prior to transmission to the United States. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transferred to a Google server in the USA and truncated there. Google will use this information on behalf of the website operator to analyse your use of the website, prepare a website activity report and to provide other services related to the website and internet use to the website operator. The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics will not be merged with any other data held by Google.

Deactivating Google Analytics
You can prevent the storage of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings on your browser; however, please note that if you do this, you may not be able to use all the functions of this website. Furthermore, you can prevent the capture of data generated by the cookie and related to your use of the website (including your IP address) and sent to Google and the processing of this data by Google by downloading and installing the browser plug-in available under the following link: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=en. You can find more information on how to handle user data in the case of Google Analytics in Google’s data protection notice:
https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/6004245?hl=en

Demographics and Interests of Google Analytics
This site uses the “demographic features” feature of Google Analytics. This allows reports to be generated containing statements about the age, gender, and interests of site visitors. This data comes from interest-based advertising from Google and third-party visitor data. This collected data cannot be attributed to any specific individual person. You can disable this feature at any time by adjusting the ads settings in your Google account, or you can generally forbid the collection of your data by Google Analytics as described in the section “Objection to data Collection.

Google Maps
We use the component “Google Maps” on our site. “Google Maps” is a service of Google Inc, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043 USA, hereinafter “Google”. Each time this component is accessed, Google sets a cookie in order to process user settings and data when displaying the page on which the “Google Maps” component is integrated. As a rule, this cookie is not deleted when you close your browser, but expires after a certain time unless you delete it manually beforehand. If you do not agree to this processing of your data, it is possible to deactivate the “Google Maps” service and thus prevent the transfer of data to Google. To do this, you must deactivate the JavaScript function in your browser. However, we would like to point out that in this case you cannot use “Google Maps” or only to a limited extent. The use of “Google Maps” and the information obtained via “Google Maps” is subject to the Google Terms of Use http://www.google.de/intl/de/policies/terms/regional.html and the additional terms and conditions for “Google Maps” https://www.google.com/intl/de_en/help/terms_maps.html.

Using Script Libraries (Google Web Fonts)
In order to display our contents correctly and so that they are graphically appealing across all browsers, we use “Google Web Fonts” by Google LLC (1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA; hereinafter referred to as “Google”) to display fonts. The privacy policy of the library operator Google can be found here: https://www.google.com/policies/privacy/. The use of Google Web fonts is done in the interest of a uniform and appealing presentation of our website. The legal basis for the integration of Google Web Fonts and the associated data transfer to Google is your consent (Art. 6 Para. 1a GDPR). Accessing script libraries or font libraries automatically triggers a connection to the library operator. It is theoretically possible – but currently also unclear whether and for what purposes – that the operator, in this case Google, collects personal data. We do not collect any personal data by integrating Google Web Fonts. Further information about handling user data, can be found at: https://developers.google.com/fonts/faq and in Google’s privacy policy at: https://www.google.com/policies/privacy/. The provision of personal data is neither required by law nor contractually. However, the correct display of the contents of standard fonts is not possible otherwise. The programming language JavaScript is regularly used to display the contents. You can therefore object to data processing by deactivating the implementation of JavaScript in your browser or by installing an integrated JavaScript blocker. Please note that this may result in limited functioning of the website.

Google AdWords
Our website uses Google conversion tracking. If you have reached our website via an ad placed by Google, Google Adwords sets a cookie on your computer. The cookie for conversion tracking is set when a user clicks on an ad placed by Google. These cookies expire after 30 days and are not used for personal identification. If the user visits certain pages of our website when the cookie has not yet expired, we and Google can detect that the user clicked on the ad and proceeded to this website. Each Google AdWords advertiser has a different cookie. Thus, cookies cannot be tracked using the website of an Adwords advertiser. The information obtained using the conversion cookie is used to create conversion statistics for Adwords customers who have opted into conversion tracking. Customers are told the total number of users who clicked on their ad and were redirected to a conversion tracking tag page. However, advertisers do not obtain any information that can be used to personally identify users. If you do not wish to participate in tracking, you can refuse to allow the required cookie to be set – for example using browser settings that deactivate all automatic cookie setting, or by setting your browser to block cookies from the “googleleadservices.com” domain. You can configure your browser to inform you about the use of cookies so that you can decide to accept or reject each cookie. Alternatively, your browser can automatically accept cookies under certain conditions or always reject them, and you can also tell it to automatically delete cookies when closing your browser. Disabling cookies may limit the functionality of this website. “Conversion cookies” are stored on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 (f) of the GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in analysing user behaviour in order to optimise both its website and its advertising. For more information about Google AdSense and Google conversion tracking, please see Google’s privacy policy at http://www.google.de/policies/privacy/

When you are logged in to your YouTube account, YouTube can recognise your surfing habits. You can prevent this by logging out of your YouTube account beforehand. As soon as a YouTube video starts, the provider uses cookies that collect information about user behaviour. If you have deactivated the storage of cookies for the Google Ad program, you do not have to reckon with such cookies when viewing YouTube videos. YouTube also stores information on usage that is not related to individuals in other cookies. If you wish to prevent this, you must block cookies from being saved in your browser.
